ALBERTON VETERINARY CLINIC SERVING THE COMMUNITY FROM ALBERTON TO TSHWANE

Dr Nchabaleng finds time to meet with us during a very busy day at Alberton Veterinary Clinic in Gauteng. Serving two communities from veterinary practices in Alberton and Tshwane, Dr Nchabaleng also has to keep his eye on two vet shops in Alberton City and Eastgate.

“My day is quite busy at times.” says Dr Nchabaleng. “In the morning I begin the day at my practice in Alberton. At around 11am I visit the two vet shops after which I go back to Alberton and close at 7pm. In the evenings, I see clients at my practice in Tshwane. Depending on the demand, I could see clients very late at night.”

Being in veterinary practice for more than 10 years, Dr Nchabaleng is still passionate about the animal’s well-being. He runs his practice in Tshwane from his residence to make it possible to see clients for any emergencies after hours.

Dr Nchabaleng believes that while there has been a lot done to educate the consumer on the benefits of the correct nutrition for pets, the consumer still has a need for further education. He finds that a lot of his time with clients is spent providing advice; from veterinary care through to nutrition.

“Vets Choice does very well in my practice.” continues Dr Nchabaleng. “Clients understand the value their dogs receive from this premium food and it is pleasing to note the steady growth in sales of premium foods in general. This means that clients are showing interest in the well-being of their dogs and understand the importance of feeding their dogs the right food.”
